RIVERSIDE PARK

Riverside Amusement Park Indianapolis, Indiana. Long gone, but not forgotten. The park operated from 1903 up until 1970. Attendance started declining in the 1960s, and due to the combination of the increased costs and competition from other parks. The park closed at the end of the 1970 season. The rides were either sold or demolished and the land was turned into a housing development.
