  1. I remember the old Shadeland drive in .. as time when on and the tech and viewing habits changed . They built an indoor theater on the property up by the road . Trying to stay in business with the changing times as America went from humid drive in’s to AC theater .
    I remember as a kid dad would take me and mom to the drive in on 4th of July . The would put on a fireworks show after the first show . The had a playground for the kids and people would get out and talk . I think they had a couple of grills for BBQ also . Neighbors would come and .. well that is when people knew who lived next door to them .
