Back when I was a kid all the service stations had a rubber hose running across the parking lot and when it was ran over a bell wood ring inside to let the attendant know someone had pulled onto the lot. A lot of kids would ride their bicycles back and forth across the bell just to watch the attendant run out to wait on a customer that wasn’t there. So when I ran across this photo it brought back old memories.
