It’s the FREE-kin weekend!!!! You know what that means? You guessed it, FREE adoptions!!!
We are full of cats, kittens and dogs and need to make space. We’re hoping everyone finds a home for the holidays just in time for Thanksgiving! Our crew would be so thankful!!
You have to come check out our Mob of Naughty Kittens!! We like to call them the Orange Mob! Details on the crew coming up!
Good Evening!!!!
We have had overwhelming interest and support in our inevitable reopening at 1002 E. Main St, and even though we do not have a date yet, we do have some good news.
1. We finally received state approval that has allowed us to start the unfortunately major renovations required to bring our new facility up to code to be used as a restaurant. Contractors began work last week!!!! The work could take between 8 to 10 weeks, so with that, our wait continues. Please hang in there, and we do ask that you spread the word quickly once we have a date. This has been a long and difficult process since the fire, and we are going to need all the support we can get to get the word out, and to make sure this community knows we may have moved, and that Hometown is back and better than ever!!!
2. For those of you who have not been in our new building at all, or not for a long time, it has been reconfigured and remodeled in recent years, and is now much, much larger than before. In fact, our plans show that we will have just as many tables and seats as our former location!!!!
3. Our new kitchen is almost twice as big as it was, and the new configuration is going to serve us well in our ability to quickly process orders and give you even better service than before
4. We will still be themed and decorated in music, movie, and game memorabilia, and will still offer arcades, music, and board games in our new location.
5. We will FINALLY have a parking lot!!!!
6. We plan to offer table service with waiters and waitresses, continued online ordering, carry-out/delivery, new phones, and special lines for pickup orders, making sure that we are servicing customers as quickly as possible, and making sure that those of you wanting to sample many of our craft and local beers (and soon local wines), will be able to do that without wasting time in line again after already sitting down and getting your food!!
7. We can’t wait to start supporting local groups and causes again, and we will absolutely still be booking private parties, making donations, and hiring hard working students just as we have since taking over in 2018.
8. We miss you guys as much as you miss us. We ARE COMING BACK just as soon as the work that has now began finishes up. So again, Hang in there guys!!…..we are getting close!!!!

We are packed full with dogs and cats 🥺. Some of our guys and gals have been waiting for some time now for a family of their own. Please come check them out tomorrow and see if you might be just who they’re looking for! Oh, AND we are offering free cat and dog adoptions tomorrow!!! 🐱 🐶 come see us from 9:30-12:30!
My favorite place in Greenfield when growing up was the Riley Park until I got a little older in my teens. Then the group I ran with started hitting places like Steele’s Ford and Twin Pits. There were usually girls involved there.
Got up this morning to rainy day. Raining all over Greenfield with a steady drizzle.

Remember Terrell’s Bakery? I used to hang out in there back in the early 60s at night keeping Hoggy Bryant company while he made all the pastries.

1950s, 60s, 70s From Crider’s to the Root Beer Stand and back several times a night.
Oh yeh, I made that trip several times myself. I think I wore about 3 or 4 cars out doing that.
