  1. I was there with the 511th MI Battalion from late 72 to late 74. Lots of great memories.

  2. Wow this is so cool, I was stationed at Darby 1of the 94th artillery my MOS was in survey. We were also known as forward observers!

    I loved it in Gremany! All of Europe to explore right at your feet!

  3. I was stationed there 1979-1981 at 595th MP Co attached to 1/94th FA. Great times! Bad times! and everything in between

    1. Hey. I was there 75 thru 78 with the first. of the ninety-fourth field artillery. Most of the time I was a battalion commander’s driver. Loved that job But when I first got there I was attached to a battery. living in that long white building. I think it was 4 or five stories, if I remember right. I loved it while I was there. I loved it when I was there. Holler back. at me.

    1. I was there, 14th Finance Section, 1972 1974. Probably had my hands on your pay records at some point!

  4. I used to work at W.O. Darby Kaserne, Fuerth, 1977-1979, 66th MI Gp, 511 MI Bn, as a civilian, Intell Assistant. I can’t remember what street WO Darby Kaserne was on, and my daughter is visiting…does anybody know? I was in Building 85. Is the Kaserne still there? Thank you so much.

      • I was stationed there. with the first of the 94th field artillery. from 75 to 78. at WODK my wife worked at the Mess hall at Monte’s Barracks. I loved it over there. before my wife came over. I lived in the long White . 4 story building.
  5. I was stationed in 240th S&S in 1977-1979. This was my first overseas duty station, love everyday I was there. First Car I had was a 1973 Fiat 2seater.

  6. I was stationed there also. 240th S&S from 83 to 87. Bought my first Mustang at the Canadian PX across the street from our PX and commissary
